Walking a New Path: A Single Dad’s Transformation

This single dad came to us after falling on hard times due to fraud that left him struggling to make ends meet. While working full-time and picking up a second job to provide for his child, he reached out for support. Salty Family Services was able to step in with financial assistance, but even more importantly, he began meeting weekly with a mentor who walked alongside him through this season.

From the very first meeting, it was clear he was open to change. Over time, his interest grew deeper—not only in making practical life changes but in exploring who Jesus is. He started attending church regularly, and that step of faith ultimately led him to desire baptism. What a blessing it was for us, as a ministry, to witness this powerful moment where he surrendered his life to Jesus!

Today, this father is walking a renewed path. He is finding hope for his financial future, making meaningful changes for his health, connecting to the body of Christ, and trusting fully in Jesus. His story is a beautiful reminder that when practical support is joined with spiritual guidance, lives are transformed.
