Volunteer Highlight: Meet Robbie

Meet Robbie Wilcher, who has been a member of the Callback team for the past three years. In this role, he follows up with families who have requested assistance and discusses what help may be available to them, whether from Salty Family Services or from other community resources.

Every day, before beginning his calls, Robbie first calls out to God. His prayer each time is, “Give me compassion. Help me talk to these families as you, Lord, would talk to them.” He is constantly reminded that our role here is not to fix anyone. Rather, we are simply called to just love them. Robbie finds joy in sharing about Jesus as he talks with families, in the hope that God will use their conversation to draw each one closer to Him.

We are so thankful for volunteers like Robbie who share the love of Jesus with those we serve.
